On Saturday, under the title ‘Your Vacation in Egypt’, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board introduced a new promotional campaign on different platforms of social media to advertise the touristic destinations of the country before the summer season.
The campaign is aiming on Arab markets exporting tourism to Egypt, comprising the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan.
Amr Al-Kady, the CEO of the ETPB, stated that the campaign was launched to set in motion internal tourism as well. Lamia Kamel — Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Promotion, said that this Arab campaign comes as a extension of the ‘follow the sun’ – an international campaign that was introduced in mid-March and achieved extraordinary success with positive results in spreading the word and viewership in the target markets like the UK, Germany, Italy, France, and the US.
Suzan Mustafa — Director General of the Tourism Promotion Department at the ETPB mentioned that the new Arab campaign targets on the most oft-used social networking sites in the target markets.
Also, she stated that the campaign overlaps with ATM 2022, which will be held in Dubai from 9 to 12 May.
