The major rise in tourist arrival in this charming destination of the country is possible as a result of showcasing the diverse range of attractions – an idea introduced by the tourism department under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Also, the administration is aiming on finding out complete potential of pilgrimage tourism by setting up of different religious tourist circuits across J&K along with the J&K Tourist Village Network effort to bring in some change in 75 villages in Jammu and Kashmir known for their historical, scenic beauty, and cultural significance.

The initiatives are aimed not only to authorize youth and women via direct and indirect opportunities related to employment but the youth-led sustainable tourism effort is targeted to fortify the thinly populated economy and public entrepreneurship.

For adventure seekers, trekkers, and international visitors, these 75 remote locations will provide with an experience of nature’s wilderness at the same time setting up of a livelihood in the villages via home-stays, nature guides, trek operators, food stalls, and forest souvenirs, as per an official confirmation.

“Record number people are visiting Kashmir.
